TOP 1 Oil Synthetic certainly already familiar in our daily life. Every motor vehicle be it car or motorcycle would require oil or lubricating oil. Engine lubricating oil or engine oil are many types and kinds, depending on the type of machine that will require the use of oil right to increase the lifetime or durability of the machine. Besides useful as cooling and insulation, engine oil also serves as a lubricant for the machine to run smoothly and hassle free. First, Let’s learn about type of oil / lubricants
Oil types are known generally grouped into two, namely:
1. MIneral oil that Made from base oil extracted from petroleum that has been processed and refined and supplemented with substances – additives to improve the capabilities and functions.
2. Synthetic oils such as TOP 1 is the cleanest gas or mixture of compounds resulting from the sorting process of mineral oil which is then mixed with mineral oil itself.
So basically synthetic oils are also derived from mineral oil and is designed to produce a more effective performance than the mineral oil.
Another grouping is based on the type of oil viscosity . The size of the oil viscosity is generally known as SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers). SAE 5W-30 means 5W (Winter) shows the temperature of cold work on the viscosity of the oil 5 and the hottest temperatures will be working on the viscosity 30.
For each country, the standard recommended oil is different of course adapted to the temperature and weather. For example below is the type of engine oil viscosity for both car-motor or other machinery that is recommended
5W-30 for cold weather like in Sweden
10W-30 for the climate was like in the UK
15W-30 for hot weather in the region such as Indonesia
